Tip of the Century - Embossing Clipart!
Recently I was printing on velum for one of my scrapbooks and I noticed how the ink sat on the top of the paper wet for a few minutes. I got out my detail gold embossing powder and sprinkled it over the ink, then shook it off and heated it. And there it was, embossed clipart. I experimented with large sized, detailed clips and it worked beautifully. This is exciting to me because now I can turn any piece of clipart into a virtual rubber stamp in whatever size I need at the time, even mirror imaged! And you can do it also!!
As a final tip, I used a small paint brush to brush away any embossing powder that clung to the page by static.
